Ingredients

    1.0 head, medium (about 5-3/4" dia) Cabbage, fresh
    16.0 oz Jennie-O Lean Ground Turkey
    2.0 cup, chopped Onions, raw
    0.5 serving 1 Med. Green Bell Pepper
    3.0 clove Garlic
    1.0 tsp Salt
    0.5 tsp Pepper, black
    1.0 tsp Thyme, ground
    2.5 cup Del Monte Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes (undrained)
    0.5 tsp Granulated Sugar
    2.0 cup Tomato Sauce (15oz) you can add another can if you like more sauce)

Directions

Crumble the raw ground turkey (or beef) and spread along bottom of crock pot.Add the onions, green pepper, garlic, salt, pepper, thyme and cabbage.Pour the diced tomatoes over top.Mix the sugar into the tomato sauce and pour over everything. If you like more sauce, add another 8-oz or 15-oz can of tomato sauce.Cover and cook on low for about 8 hours or on high for about 4 hours.When done, remove lid and stir to mix well.
