Introduction

This isn't really a light recipe, but it is definately tasty and a big hit when entertaining. It's my most requested dish. This isn't really a light recipe, but it is definately tasty and a big hit when entertaining. It's my most requested dish.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    12 oz carton of fresh button mushrooms
    3 oz of cream cheese (softened)
    1/2 cup of freshly grated parmesean cheese
    1/4 teaspoon of Worcester Sauce
    Pinch of salt
    Pinch of Pepper
    Pinch of Ground Nutmeg

Directions

Remove stems from mushrooms.
Combine cream cheese and all other ingredients, spoon evenly into mushrooms. Place in a lightly greased 13 x9 inch pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Makes about 18 mushrooms. (6 servings)

    Incredible!
    I'm a sucker for mushrooms, these were indeed good. I substituted neufchatel low fat and used my microplane to grate the parmesan, made it fluffier using less cheese. A tiny dolop of Worcestershire sauce goes a long way, so I reduced that too. - 2/14/13

    I will say I have made alot of stuffed mushrooms and these are excellent!!!!!! I will definately be making these again! - 10/28/09
