Introduction
I was looking for a Chocolate Chip cookie recipe lower in sugar, therefore calories, that I could feel good about eating and serving to my Cookie Monster kids! (Feel free to modify it, but beware the calories will change.) Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup Splenda
1/2 cup brown sugar (not packed!)
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 all purpose flour
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 tsp baking soda
dash salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 350F
Blend well together the butter with the brown sugar and Splenda. Add egg and vanilla and blend well.
Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl and slowly add to the wet ingredients. Mix to just well blended.
Using a small tablespoon sized cookie scoop (disher), dish out cookies on a nonstick baking pan, or better yet, a pan lined with a Silpat. Put cookies 12 to a pan and bake for 12 minutes.
These are good! Yield 30 cookies.
