Ingredients

    1 clove Garlic
    0.25 cup, chopped Onions, raw
    1 fruit without skin and seeds Avocados, California (Haas)
    4 oz Green Chiles (Whole)
    1 medium Tomatillos
    2 cup Chicken stock, home-prepared
    0.75 cup Sour Cream, reduced fat
    0.5 tsp Salt
    0.1 tsp Pepper, white

Directions

1 small clove of garlic 1/4 cup sweet onion 1 avocado, pitted, peeled, and quartered 1 (4 ounce) can green chiles, drained 1 tomatillo, husked, rinsed, and quartered 2 cups chicken stock, chilled 3/4 cup light sour cream 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon ground white pepper Preparation In a food processor or blender, finely chop garlic and onion. Add avocado, chilies, tomatillo, and chicken stock and blend until smooth. Blend in sour cream, salt, and pepper. Check seasonings. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for 2 hours. Garnish with fried tortilla strips or fresh tomato salsa. (Garnish not included in nutritional information.) Serving Size: Makes four 3/4 c servings
