Introduction

My husband loves fried rice so I tried to make mine with fewer calories by microwaving the bacon and using small amount of olive oil insterd of bacon drippings. Ingredients

    4 cup White Rice, long grain, cooked
    1 cup, chopped Onions, raw
    6 medium slices, cooked (raw pro Bacon, pork, microwaved
    1 package (10 oz) Peas and carrots, frozen
    2 tbsp Soy Sauce
    2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Tips

You can add shrimp, chicken ,or steak ,but you will have to adjust recipe to get the right calculations.


Directions

Microwave bacon and set aside. Add olive oil to skillet and saute onion, crumbled bacon, and peas and carrots for 5 minutes. Add rice and soy sauce, mix well till heated through. Serve hot .
