Ingredients

    1 cup, pitted, chopped Dates
    1/2 cup, chopped Hazelnuts
    1 tbsp unsweetened Cocoa powder
    3 tbsp Dark Chocolate Chips (between 60-70% dark)
    3 tsp Nescafe Instant Coffee

Tips

This is a healthy naturally sweet bar that can replace granola or power bars.


Directions

1. Place 1 tsp of Nescafe in 1/4 cup of warm water. Soak the dried dates for 15 minutes.
2. Drain dates and place in a food processor fitted with a blade. Add the remaining ingredients.
3. Pulse all ingredients until it makes a consistent paste.
4. On a large piece of parchment smash the mixture into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
5. Wrap the mixture in the parchment paper and place in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
6. Cut into 10 pieces equal in size and wrap in wax paper or plastic wrap. Store in the fridge.

Serving Size: makes 10 bars (~4 inches each)
