Ingredients
-
1.5 cup Cauliflower, raw
1 serving Goldhen Grade A Large Egg (by MSTEWART528)
1 tsp Salt
1 serving Mama Cozzi's Turkey pepperoni (1 svg= 16 slices))
1 cup Happy Farms Shredded Mozzarella
0.25 cup Prego Chunky Garden italian Sauce (Tomato, Onion & Garlic)
3 tsp Mrs. Dash (R) Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend
Tips
It's a little high on the sodium side, but it's only because I didn't make the sauce from scratch and the cheese was not low-cal or skim. You can make adjustments to your liking.
Directions
**You will need Parchment paper for this recipe.
Pre-heat oven to 350ºF
* Cut only the cauliflower florets off and dispose of the rest.
* Put florets into a food Processor, and pulse until you have a rice-like consistency
* Put the blended cauliflower into a dry non-stick pan and cook it, stirring it occasionally to steam some of the water out. Do this for 5-6 minutes until it's soft.
* Turn the stove off to allow the cauliflower to cool
* Once cooled, put the cauliflower into a cheese cloth to squeeze the excess water out then put it into a bowl.
*Add the mozzarella and egg and mix really well
* Line your pizza pan with Parchment paper
* Form the cauliflower into a crust shape on the parchment paper using a spatula to shape the round edges of the crust.
* Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes or until golden brown
* When it's golden brown, take it out of the oven and place a layer of parchment paper over the crust and flip it over onto the new paper and put in the oven for another 10 to bake the other side.
*Once it's done take it out, layer the crust with sauce, cheese and topping and bake for another 20 minutes.
Take it out of the oven and let it cool and harden a bit to your liking and Enjoy!
