Ingredients

6 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
1 cup Colby and Monterey Jack Cheese shredded
1 cup, diced Ham, extra lean, (5% fat)
0.5 cup Milk, nonfat (skim milk)
8 spear, medium (5-1/4" to 7" lo Asparagus, fresh
Tips
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees
In a bowl, whisk together 6 eggs and 1/2 cup milk until light in color.
Add in diced ham and shredded cheese.
Pour into a greased large pie pan and top with the 8 asparagus spears. The spears look good if you create a "wheel" with the tips pointed out.
Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes or until the egg bake is firm and the asparagus is soft.
Allow to cool for 5 minutes before slicing into 8 pieces - each with a centered asparagus spear.
Enjoy with an extra slice of ham if you like a hearty breakfast!
