Ingredients

    1 serving Pillsbury 9" Refrigerated Pie Crust (entire pie crust) (by MORE2LUV31)
    1 tbsp Butter, unsalted
    2 cup Leeks
    1 cup Light Cream (coffee cream or table cream)
    1.25 cup, shredded Gruyere Cheese

Tips

Take pastry out of refrigerator and start to melt butter. While butter is melting, cut leeks. When pastry has been out of refrigerator for 10 minutes, place in pan.


Directions

While crust is defrosting at room temperature, heat butter on medium low heat. While butter melts, chop leeks. Add leeks to pan and stir occasionally for about 10 minutes or until tender. Season with salt and pepper.
When crust has been at room temperature for 10 minutes, place in pie pan.
Reduce heat to low. Stir in cream and cheese and warm through. Pour into pie shell.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes or until custard is set and golden on top. Allow to sit for 10 minutes before cutting pie into 8 even pieces.
