Ingredients

    5.0 serving JENNIE-O TURKEY STORE Sweet Lean Italian Turkey Sausage
    3.0 cup, chopped Cabbage, red, fresh
    1.0 cup, chopped Onions, raw
    3.0 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery, raw
    4.0 cup (8 fl oz) Chicken Broth
    4.0 cup Vegetable Broth
    0.66 cup White Rice, long grain, cooked
    2.0 cup (8 fl oz) Chicken Broth or Bouillon
    1.0 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    3.5 cup Crushed tomatoes

Directions

Remove sausage from casing and brown in a soup pot. Add oil if it is sticking to the pan. Once the sausage is cooked add the onion, celery, and garlic. Saute until soft. Add the broths and tomatoes along with 1/3 cup uncooked rice and seasonings. Cook for 30 minutes. I also included a dash of tobasco sauce and a sprig of fresh thyme.
