Introduction

If you, like me, are severely allergic to nuts of any kind, but still crave a peanut butter and jelly sandwich now and then...then come along and have one with me...just as tasty-with less fat, and no allergic reaction...well...unless you are also allergic to soy..then...you might not want to try this. Ingredients

    *Soynut Butter, 2 tbsp
    *Smuckers Sugar Free Jelly-Strawberry, 1 tbsp
    *Wonder Lite Wheat Bread (2 slices), 1 serving

Directions

Soynut is not a nut, but has a peanuty taste. Spread 1 tbsp of soynut butter on each slice of bread. Put the jelly on one of the soynut butter sides, and then put soynut butter down on that to make a sandwich.

Makes one sandwich.

    Not made yet but have a suggestion. I have a peanut allergy and love pb&j. I have discovered almond butter. (in the orgainc section of store) I found it to taste very close to peanut butter and can be used the same as peanut butter when reciepe calls for peanut butter. Great w/Hersey chol bar too - 10/2/08

    Since I don't care for the taste of soy butter and am severely allergic to peanuts I made it with sun butter and it was really great! - 7/11/08

    You can also use Sunflower Butter, no allergy risk and its super tasty. - 7/2/08
