Ingredients
-
One Lender's Whole Wheat Bagel
4 Egg Whites
Garlic Powder (1 Tsp)
Black pepper (a dash or two)
Oilive Oil (1 tsp)
Fresh Baby Spinach (10 small leaves)
Directions
Drop the bagel in the toaster or oven for 2 minutes. Use a small sauce pan and add olive oil. In a small bowl, mix 4 egg whites, garlic powder and a couple dashes of pepper. Pour the mixture into the sauce pan and allow it to fry on each side for 2 minutes before turning. (The sauce pan should help shape it into an easy round egg mixture.) When golden and no longer runny, plan the warm egg white omelet in the toasted bagel and add the fresh spinach leaves. Wrap it in foil or a sturdy napkin and you can eat this on the go! For more flavor, feel free to add a basil leaf - really tasty.
