Ingredients

    4 serving Bacon, John Morrell, Hardwood Smoked Bacon (2 slices/17g)
    1 large Onions, raw
    4 clove Garlic
    4 cup Green Beans (snap)
    2 serving Pacific Natural Foods Organic Low Sodium Chicken Broth, 1 cup
    4 cup diced Potato, raw
    1 tsp Salt
    1 tsp Pepper, black
    0.5 tsp Pepper, red or cayenne

Directions

Cut bacon into 1 inch pieces and cook bacon until crisp. Remove bacon and set aside. Add onions to bacon grease and saute until translucent, add garlic and saute 1 minute more. Add Green Beans and saute for 15 minutes uncovered. Add 1 cup chicken broth, cover and simmer 30 minutes. Add potatoes and the rest of chicken broth. Cover and simmer 30 - 45 minutes or until potatoes done. Return bacon bits. Season with salt and peppers. Stir well and serve.
