Introduction
This is an easy, great, tasty dish to make! Throw in whatever vegetables you want, but I've found the ones that I have listed to work the best. This is an easy, great, tasty dish to make! Ingredients
-
ucchini, .5 cup, sliced
Onions, raw, .25 cup, chopped
Mushrooms, fresh, .25 cup, pieces or slices
Sauce, Prego Marinara Sauce, 0.5 cup
Mozzarella Cheese, part skim milk, 1/4 cup
Oregano, ground, 1 tbsp
Pepper, black, 1 tbsp
Cooked whole Wheat pasta, .5 cup
Directions
-Preheat the oven to about 375 Degrees
-Cut the vegetables, place in a tupperware with lid.
-Add the herbs (this is to your taste)
-Give the tupperware a good shake to coat the veggies
-Get a small casserole dish (this recipe makes about one hearty serving) - I used a Pyrex glass individual sized oven safe dish.
-Spread a small amount of spaghetti suace on the bottom.
-Alternate layering pasta, veggies, sauce, cheese
-Make sure top layer is cheese!
-Cook for about 15-20 minutes until cheese is golden brown. May need to give it a quick stir and put back in the oven to cook through evenly! Great for the toaster oven!
