Ingredients
-
1/3 Less Fat Cream Cheese
Cucumber, unpeeled
Fresh Chives or Green Onions
Lite Wheat Bread
Directions
the prep time goes to slicing up the green onions and chives and mixing it with the cream cheese. I just put the whole package of cream cheese in a bowl and slowly mix in chives until there is no room left for chives/green onions. (Usually it's a little over half the cut up bunch of chives).
Slice up cucumber into thin, round slices.
Get out your bread and spread the cream cheese mixture onto one slice of the bread and top with half a cup or cup of cucumber slices. then finish it off by putting the other slice on top so you have a finished sandwich.
Cut in half or eat it whole. They're quick and easy sandwiches for picnics, cookouts or get togethers. They're great for vegetarians, kids, and anyone looking for a new sandwich idea!
