1/2 - 1 cup sliced seedless cucumber
(English-type, soft peeled & not waxed)
1 slice whole grains nutty bread
(TRADER JOE'S whole grain flax & fiber organic 40g/1.4oz svgs)
1 tsp buttery spread
(SMART BALANCE Omega Plus Buttery Spread)
Directions
For easy preparation, and the best flavor, all ingredients must be at room temperature.
Put the spread over the bread slice in a smooth, thin buttery layer.
Slice 1/2 cup chunk of cucumber into six circles. (Or, slice a 1 cup chunk into three lengths).
Slice the bread into six pieces for 1/2 of cucumber (or three pieces for 1 cup).
Place one slice of cucumber on each piece of buttered bread.
