Ingredients

    2 cups Broccoli florets
    1 9 oz pkg refrigerated cheese tortellini
    1/3 cup Finely chopped red onion
    1/8 cup Raisins
    3 tbsp Reduced-fat mayonnaise
    1 tsp Sugar
    1/2 tbsp Cider vinegar

Directions

In a large saucepan, cook broccoli in 6 cups boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain and immediately rinse in cold water. In the same saucepan, cook tortellini according to package directions. Drain and immediately rinse in cold water.
In a large bowl, combine the red onion, raisins, broccoli and tortellini. Combine the mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar. Pour over tortellini mixture; toss to coat. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. If desired, just before serving, you can stir in 1/4 cup sunflower kernels.

    We used a dry product Better Value CoraBella bought at WalMart and Market basket it was No Preservatives vs Fresh and had better shelve life kept it in cuboard it cooked up perfect for Pasta salad Loved CoraBella Thanks - 3/15/10

    Incredible!
    We had it for the 4th of July picnic meal! It was very very delicious. I used craisins instead of raisins, and it was perfect. I think you could add shredded carrots or water chesnuts (for crunch) or any veggie you like and it would still be great! - 7/4/10
