Ingredients

    1 1tsp Olive Oil
    2 links Jennie-o Sweet Italian Turkey Sausage -1 link casing removed
    1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions, raw diced
    2 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery, raw diced
    1 serving Granny smith apple - 1 med. apple diced
    8 tbsp Trader Joe's Dried Fruit Dried Cranberries (4 Tbsp or 1/4 Cup)
    2 clove Garlic minced
    1 tsp Sage, ground or 10-12 fresh leaves
    1.5 cup chicken stock, low sodium
    1 serving Egg white, large
    2 tbsp Butter, salted
    Salt & pepper to taste
    10 serving Canyon bakehouse gluten free ancient grain bread (1 slice) cubed (if fresh, bake 350 oven for 10 min)

Directions

Prepare baked, cubed bread.
Heat olive oil in large skillet over med heat
Add sausage, onion, celery, apple, cranberries, & garlic & saute 10 min, until the veggies are soft and sausage is cooked through.
Combine the bread, sausage-vegetable mixture, sage, stock, & egg in large mixing bowl.
Toss to evenly coat the stuffing with the liquid, Season with a few pinches of salt & black pepper.
Place in a 13"x9" casserole dish & dot with butter.
Bake, uncovered, for about 40 min until the top of the stuffing is nicely browned & crunchy.
