    .3 cup Black-eyed peas (cowpeas), immature seeds, cooked, boiled, drained, with salt
    4 oz Smoked Turkey Necks

Tips

Soak beans overnight, make sure to cook turkey necks so that the meat comes off the bone easily.


Directions

Start with dry beans and cook according to directions. Boil, then simmer smoked turkey necks for about 2 hours ,cool and remove meat from bone. Combine all ingredients into broth left from cooking turkey necks, salt and pepper to taste.
