Ingredients

    2 cup Steel Cut Oats, dry
    3 serving Pumpkin-Libby's 100% Pure Pumpkin (1/2 cup)
    1 serving Apple, Fuji Large, 3 1/4" in diameter, 1 apple (chopped)
    .33 cup, packed Raisins
    1 oz (20 halves) Pecans (chopped)
    1 tbsp Cinnamon, ground
    7 c water (and / or skim milk)

Directions

Prepare in rice cooker or slow cooker according to directions for steel cut oats / porridge. Use appropriate non scratch cookware to mix and serve. Note: the oatmeal setting may leave the oats Al Dante. It will help to soak the oats in the water overnight or slow cook for 2 hours or more.

Add dry ingredients including cinnamon to rice cooker and stir. Add chopped apple, raisins, pumpkin, chopped nuts and 7 c water or substitute in skim milk to add protein and calcium.
