    *2 lb lean ground beef
    *1 large onion, chopped
    *1-10 oz bag frozen Mixed Vegetables
    *2 packages Shepherd's Pie seasoning mix(or powdered gravy of your choice), prepared per package instructions
    *2 pouches Instant Mashed potatoes, prepared per package instructions


* Brown the ground beef, drain the fat
* Add onion, cook until soft
* Add frozen vegetables
* Add Shepherd's Pie seasoning mix
* Cook until vegetables are soft

At the same time:
*Prepare mashed potatoes following package instructions.
* Set oven to Broil, allow it to heat up

* Spoon beef and vegetables into a 9x13 casserole dish
* Cover meat mixture with mashed potatoes
* Put casserole in oven uncovered, broil until potatoes are golden brown
* Remove from oven, let sit for 5 minutes, cut into 8 pieces and serve.
