Ingredients

    32 oz Pork Shoulder (pork butt, picnic roast)
    2 leek Leeks
    2 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery, raw
    4 clove Garlic
    4 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.) Potato, raw
    2 cup Beef stock, home-prepared
    16 fl oz Red Wine or strong black tea. (Nutrients measured with
    wine)
    2 tsp paprika
    1 tsp marjoram
    1 tsp pepper

Tips

You can add salt if you need it.


Directions

chop pork, remove visible fat. Chop all veg. Layer on bottom of slow-cooker, put pork on top. Add liquids. You can use strong black tea instead of wine if you choose. Add seasoning. Cook on low 6-10 hours, or on high 4-6 hours. I'm low sodium, so add it to taste when I serve it.
