Introduction

The greek yogurt gives this a somewhat more moist (and probably less bread like to most) texture. It also gives it a boost in protein. This is my first attempt at banana bread though, so I wanted to record the little changes that I made. I modified it a bit and used half the normal oil and half low far greek yogurt, I also used half the normal sugar instead of splenda, and half whole wheat flour instead of all white flour. I ALWAYS use yogurt in my cakes, just had never thought to use Greek yogurt! MMMMM! - 1/8/09

This is very flavorful, but a bit dense because of the lack of fat. I think I would use regular fat yogurt or add a little canola oil next time. - 11/30/08

Delicious! After reading previous comments, I decided to add 1/4 cup applesauce. It turned out perfect. I also added some cinnamon. Will definitely make this again. Thank you! - 1/29/12
