Ingredients
-
* Butterball Smoked Turkey Sausage, 8 oz - cubed
* Spaghetti Squash, 500 grams - baked
* Scallions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
* Parmesan Cheese, grated, .3 cup
Directions
First, you must bake the spaghetti squash. Prepare it by splitting it in half lenghwise. Remove the seeds with a spoon. Cover each half with foil and place on a baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 1 hr or until strands pull away easily from sides.
Saute sausage in skillet. When spaghetti is done, remove strands by gently pulling at them with a fork. Place in a bowl and sprinkle with the melted butter. Depending on the amount of drippings you had with the sausage, you might want to just use them and not use the butter.
You can do this two ways. You can either toss the sausage with the spaghetti squash in a bowl, top it with the scallion and cheese and serve it that way OR
You can toss the sausage with the spaghetti, then put it back in the oven with the cheese on top for a little while. It's up to you :)
Enjoy!
