Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    · 1-2 bags baby spinach
    · 1 pint of strawberries (or seasoned fruit)
    · Sliced toasted almonds
    · ½ cup sugar
    · 2 Tbsp sesame seeds
    · 2 Tbsp poppy seeds
    · 1 ½ Tsp chopped onion
    · ¼ tsp worch. sauce
    · ½ cup oil
    · ¼ cup cider vinegar

Directions

Dressing

Add last 7 ingredients in a small bowl. Mix together thoroughly until sauce thickens slightly. Put aside until ready to serve.

Note: Use own judgement on amount of sugar. I don't usually use the whole 1/2 cup as it can be too sugary. You'll get a feel for it.

Salad

Wash spinach thoroughly. Cut up into small pieces and put in large salad bowl (baby spinach is best to avoid cutting). Slice strawberries and toss into salad leaving some strawberries aside for presentation. When ready to serve, mix dressing again and then pour dressing (use own judgment on amount) and toss salad. Top with sliced strawberries and almonds and serve.

Serving Size: Makes approx 8-10 1-cup servings
