Ingredients

4 cu old fashioned oats
1/2 cu packed light brown sugar
1/4 t. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 cu wheat germ
1/2 cu coconut
1/4 cu canola oil
1/4 cu honey
1 tsp vanilla
Optional Ingredients:
1 1/2 cu sliced almonds
1/2 cu salted sunflower seeds
1 1/2 cu craisins
Directions
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Spray 15x10" pan with vegetable spray. In a bowl, mix the oats, sugar, salt and cinnamon. In the microwave or saucepan, warm the oail and honey. Whisk in vanilla.
Carefully pour the liquid over the oat mixture. Stir gently with a wooden spoon. Spread granola in the baking pan.
Bake 40 minutes, stirring carefully every 10 minutes.
At end of baking time, transfer granols-filled pan to cooling rack. Cool completely.
Add optional ingredients at this time.
Seal in airtight container or self-sealing bag. Store at room temperature for 1 week, or in the freezer for 3 months.
Yields 36 - 1/4 cu servings.
