Ingredients

    3 c. flour
    1 T yeast
    1/2 T sugar
    1 t salt
    1/8 t baking soda
    1 c warm milk
    1/4 c warm water
    cornmeal for sprinkling

Directions

Combine all ingredients and beat till smooth. Grease a loaf pan and sprinkle with cornmeal, pour in batter and sprinkle with more cornmeal. Let rise 45 minutes, then bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
