Introduction

My grandma taught me how to make this after I begged her!! It's one of my absolute favorites!! You can play with it and add or subtract and vegetables you like or dislike! Ingredients

    1 pound stew meat
    1 package vegetable soup mixed vegetables
    1 can chopped tomatoes
    1 can tomato paste
    1/3 bag frozen okra
    1/2 cup lima beans
    8 cups water

Directions

Spray cooking spray into the bottom of the soup pan. Slightly brown stew meat, but make sure to leave it a little pink. Add 8 cups of water, canned tomatoes, tomato paste, and vegetables. Stir thoroughly. Let simmer on low until meat and vegetables are completely cooked.

    This was good but mine had no flavor. I will make it again bc it was easy and i will add more seasoning. - 10/19/08

    I'm really sorry, I forgot to add salt into my recipe. I put sea salt in mine, the salt is what really makes the flavor. Sometimes I put basil in this also.
