Ingredients

    2 lb beef stew meat (bottom round)
    4 medium carrots
    5 medium potatoes
    1 medium onion
    1 cup chopped bell pepper
    1 pkg mixed frozen vegetables
    5 cloves garlic
    salt & pepper to tase

Directions

Makes about 16 1cup servings
Brown stew meat, drain fat off. Chop vegetables and garlic. Place in pot with stew meat. Add water to just cover food. Season to taste. Simmer for 80 minutes. Add frozen vegetables and simmer 10 more minutes. Let stand 15 minutes and serve. Goes great on wintery days with cornbread
