Ingredients

1 lb. Ground beef, lean
2 large tomatoes, diced
2 large green peppers, diced
1 large onion, diced
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 cup rice (cooked with 1 cup of water)
Directions
Combine 1/2 cup rice with 1 cup of water. Cook per directions on rice package.
While rice is cooking, in large skillet, brown ground beef. Drain. Set meat aside on paper towels to continue to drain.
Place diced tomatoes, green peppers, onion, garlic powder, and basil in skillet. Cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes. Add ground beef and cooked rice into mixture. Salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!
Makes about 10 (1/2 cup) servings.
