Introduction
Most recipes for chicken w/ 40 cloves call for celery, but I hate celery, so I used potatoes instead. You can also add to the pot rosemary, sage, thyme, and parsley for an extra delicious aroma. 4 Chicken thighs, skin on
4 Chicken drumsticks, skin on
2 pounds fingerling potatoes
40 cloves of garlic
Directions
In a 6-qt crock pot, layer potatoes, garlic, chicken, and more garlic. Cook on high for approximately 6 hours, or until chicken is cooked through and garlic is soft.
When done, the chicken should come off the bones easily.
