11/2 c warm water
1/2 c honey
1 T olive oil
1 t sea salt
3 c whole wheat flour
1 c bread flour, unbleached
2 t yeast
Directions
Measure all of the ingredients into the bread pan in the order listed. Make a well in the flour and sprinkle the yeast.
Press Start and let the machine to do the hard work for you. When the dough is done mxing and rising, remove from the bread machine and punch it down.
Shape it into a loaf. Place it into a cooking sprayed 9 by 5-inch bread pan.
Cover the dough with waxed paper and allow it to rise until doubled( this is usually about an hour for me).
Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.
Remove the bread from the oven and turn it out of the pan. Allow it to cool before slicing.
Makes 2 standard sized loaf of homemade bread. I get 16 slices out of each loaf.
I also use this recipe to make 16 hamburger rolls*, or 1 loaf of bread and 8 rolls*.
