Introduction

Ingredients

    8 red peppers, tops removed and insides rinsed with cold water - turn upside down on paper towel to dry.
    3/4 lb. lean hamburger
    3/4 lb. ground turkey
    1/2 lb. sausage
    1 bag of long grain brown rice, cooked
    2 eggs, whipped
    2 stalks of celery, diced
    1 cup parmesan cheese
    2 cloves minced garlic
    1/2 C.diced onion
    1 tbsp parsley flakes
    1 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp pepper
    1 small can tomato sauce
    1 16 oz. can diced tomatoes


Directions

Cook sausage, turkey and hamburger in frying pan. Remove from pan. At the same time cook rice and cool. In a large bowl whip eggs. Saute garlic, onion and celery till tender. Add hamburger, turkey and sausage to frying pan. Add garlic, onion powders, salt & pepper to hamburger and celery. Mix. and let frying pan cool. Add cooled rice to eggs and mix. Add parsley to rice mixture. Add cooled meat mix and combine in bowl with rice mixture. Put in parmesean cheese and mix well. Spoon mixture into peppers. Put peppers in slow cooker for 4 hours on high. Heat Tomato sauce & diced tomatoes in a small sauce pan when peppers are almost done cooking and spoon over peppers. Serve and enjoy!
