Ingredients

1 lb Pinto Beans
2 Cartons of Chicken Broth
1 lb Ground Turkey
1 Can Diced Tomatoes or 1 Can Rotel drained
1 Large Bell Pepper chopped
1 Med Onion chopped
1Bunch Cilantro snipped
2 Tbsp. Fajita Season or Tony Chachere or 1pkg taco seasoning
May add 2 cups of water to cover beans
Directions
Soak beans overnight
In large stew pot add chicken broth, beans, fajita seasoning, bacon and tomatoes until covered
Saute ground turkey or ground sirloin in skillet with onions and bell pepper
Add to boiling beans. Snip cilantro and add
Boil for 1 hour stirring a couple of times
Cook on low for 2 hours until beans are soft.
You will not have to add water or more broth. Unlike cooking with water only, the broth does not evaporate
