Ingredients

Two slices of (Sara Lee White Bread Lovers) whole grain bread
    1/4 cup egg substitute
    1 T cinnamon
    1T powdered sugar
    Butter-flavored oil spray

Directions

Combine cinnamon and sugar. Set aside. Spray pan with butter-flavored oil spray and bring to medium heat. Beat egg substitute. With basting brush, coat one side of bread with egg and place bread egg-side down in heated pan. Quickly baste exposed side of bread with egg and sprinkle well with cinnamon-sugar mixture. Flip bread to cook another minute or two or until golden brown on each side. Transfer to serving plate and sprinkle with remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture. For "heavier", more substantial French Toast, increase egg substitute to 1/2 cup and dredge bread in egg rather than basting with brush. This adds 53 calories.
