Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    4 Medium potatoes, skins on
    Pam cooking spray
    Seasoning options (add your preference):
    ground black pepper
    salt
    garlic powder
    seasoned salt
    old bay seasoning
    Mrs. Dash
    the possibilities are endless!

Directions

Wash potatoes and cut into 'french fry' strips.
Put in a large bowl, spray lightly with Pam & toss. Add seasoning.
Spray a light coating of Pam cooking spray on baking sheet & wipe with a paper towel, for even distribution and to remove excess. (Use a non-stick baking sheet if you have one!)
Lay potato strips on baking sheet in a single layer.
Bake at 450 degrees, turning frequently, until done (keep in longer if you prefer them crispy).

    I slice my "fries" crossways instead of lengthwise. So I have round fries instead of long ones, but that way they are the same thickness and cook more evenly. I also use aluminum foil. I don't turn the fries during baking. - 4/18/10

    my husband makes these but uses olive oil to toss instead of pam. We don't like the taste of pam all that well. Your recipe is very good though. Thanks for posting it - 4/20/09
