Introduction

Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    2 - 3 oz pork chops
    salt pepper and garlic powder to taste
    2 tsp olive oil
    1/2 medium onion
    2 stalks celery
    1 medium apple peeled cored and chopped
    1/2 cup apple juice (unsweetened)
    1/4 tsp cinnamon
    1/4 tsp poultry seasoning
    1/4 tsp garlic powder
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 tsp corn starch
    1 tsp water

    1/2 cup mashed potatoes each
    1/2 cup green beans each

Directions

Season pork chops with salt pepper and garlic powder. Brown in heavy pan using olive oil. Remove chops from pan and brown onion, and celery in pan. Add apple, apple juice, cinnamon, garlic powder and poultry seasoning to pan cook approximately 15 min. Add pork back to sauce and cook an additional 15 min till vegetables and pork are done. Mix corn starch in 1 tsp water and mix into sauce to thicken it if needed. Serve with mashed potato and green beans.
