Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1pound ground turkey
    Box of Taco Shells (12)
    One packet of Taco Seasoning mix
    1 small onion

Directions

Chop the onion and mix with the turkey in a skillet and cook until done; drain. Add seasoning mix and 3/4 cup water, and simmer for 10 minutes.

Heat taco shells in the oven on 350 degrees for 3-4 minutes.

Top with lettuce, tomatoes, picante sauce or other "healthy" toppings!

    I made these with 98% lean beef and used a low sodium, homeade taco seasoning. Very good, satisfied my craving! Next time I'll try the turkey/beef mixture! - 4/17/09
