Ingredients

    ground beef, instant brown rice, red bell pepper, tomato sauce, onion, parmesan cheese

Directions

put ground beef and onion in deep pan begin to brown the meat and onions. Before finished add broth and rice. cook until rice is almost done, add peppers, parm. cheese and tomoto sauce. cook down a bit.

    I used:
    1/4 cup chopped onions
    1 pound ground beef
    1 can beef broth
    1 can water
    3/4 cup brown rice
    1/4 cup pepper
    1/4 cup parm cheese
    3/4 can tomato sauce
    Husband said it would be great in stuff peppers.
    Mother-in-law said it was spanish rice.

    I would love to try this recipe, but how much of each item are you supposed to use? Also, in the directions there is mention of broth but not in the ingredients, how come? - 3/28/11
