    Flour, white, 2 cup
    Granulated Sugar, .75 cup
    Butter, salted, .5 cup
    Milk, nonfat, 2 TBS
    Almond Extract, 1 tsp (optional)


Mix all ingredients. Press into pan or roll into log then chill and slice cookies. Bake 375 for 20 minutes or until done.

  • These were very easy to make. I melted my butter(only because it was frozen). It made the cookies very easy to handle. I Split the dough in half and added a 1/2 tsp cocoa powder to make a chocolate variety. Both were delicious. Thanks for sharing this recipe! - 1/30/10

  • I made 1" balls with the dough chilled it for an hour then baked them at 35 for 15-20 mins til tan colored. You can poke a hole in the center with a wooden spoon and fill with
    your favorite jam. You could even drizzle a little glaze after their done. That would add extra calories.
