Ingredients

    tbs sunflower oil
    50g Lean bacon fat removed
    200g red lentils
    small onion
    200g carrots
    can pureed tomato
    2 stock vegetable cubes
    1l water
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

for 4 people
in a pot gentle fry the onion and bacon in the oil
add diced carrots and rest of ingredients simmer for 30 minutes.
add salt and pepper to taste
stir frequently
once cooked liquidize and serve
