Introduction

My kids love smoothies. I do too! It is a great way to get some protein, calcium, fiber and vitamin C all in one fast to eat breakfast. This recipe makes 2 adult size smoothies (about 12 oz each) or 4 kid size smoothies. My kids love smoothies. I do too! Ingredients

    1 cup orange juice (I buy calcium fortified)
    1 cup whole frozen strawberries
    1 whole banana, peeled
    1 cup fat free vanilla yogurt (can use strawberry banana or plain strawberry if you prefer)

Directions

Puree all in blender on high for 30-45 seconds until smooth. Makes 2 large smoothies or 4 small ones. The nutritional information listed here is based on 2 large smoothies.
