Introduction
This is a hamburger vegetable soup that is quick & homemade. It is quite high in sodium but, you can use low sodium substitutes where possible to cut down the salt.*It's also good if you add cabbage and/or potatoes to it and adjust the cooking time. Ingredients

46 oz. can of V8 Vegetable Juice Cocktail
1 lb. Lean or Extra Lean Ground Beef
1/2 cup chopped Onion
16 oz. package frozen Mixed Vegetables
1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
1/4 tbsp. each Basil, Dried Marjoram, Ground Thyme, Dried Rosemary & Ground Oregano (I substitute 2 tbsp. Dried Italian Seasoning for this.)
3 tsp. Instant Beef Bouillion Granules or 3 Beef Bouillion Cubes
Directions
Brown Ground Beef, drain off fat & rinse if desired.
In a large sauce pan or Dutch Oven add the gound beef, onion, salt & pepper & cook until the onions are soft.
Add V8 Juice, remaining spices & bullion granules or cubes & bring to a boil, stirring often.
Add frozen vegetables, reduce heat to simmer, cover & cook for 20 mins.
*Makes 6 1 cup servings.
