Introduction

This is a perfect treat on a cold day, or anytime. This is a perfect treat on a cold day, or anytime.
Number of Servings: 15

Ingredients

    1 1/2 lbs Lean ground beef or ground turkey

    1/2 C Chopped onion

    1 (26 oz) Can whole tomatoes with juice OR
    2 (15-oz) Cans of any diced tomatoes

    2 (14 oz) Cans red kidney beans with juice

    1 (17 oz) Can corn with juice

    1 Pkg. Taco or Chili seasoning

    2-4 C Water

    1 Sml. Can of Diced Chilis

    1 (8-oz) Can tomato sauce


Directions

Brown beef or turkey in heavy kettle.

Drain and add onions. Cook until onions are tender.

Add tomatoes, red kidney beans, corn tomato sauce, taco or chili seasoning and water.

Simmer for 15-45 minutes.

Ladle into bowls.

Optional: Top with grated cheese.
