Introduction

I modified a regular lumpia eggroll recipe and made it into burgers. They are very tasty! I modified a regular lumpia eggroll recipe and made it into burgers. They are very tasty!

Ingredients

    1 lb. lean ground pork
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 c. onion, minced
    1/2 c. carrots, shredded or minced
    1/2 c. cabbage, minced
    1/2 c. scallions, minced
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. soy sauce
    3/4 c. bread crumbs
    1 large egg
    5 pineapple slices
    1 apple, peeled and cored, sliced into rings
    5 bagels, toasted
    1 tbsp. sweet thai chili sauce per burger (optional)
    1 tbsp. Sunset Gourmet Tropical Pineapple Peppercorn Sauce per burger (optional)

Directions

Spray a frypan with cooking spray. Take all of the vegetables and put in a food blender and minced.
Put all the vegetables, spice and ground pork together and form into patties. On medium heat, cook the patties thoroughly.

On your toasted bagel, place a pineapple slice (ring), an apple ring and both or either of the two sauces. I place on sauce on the top of the bagel and the other on the bottom. When your patties are ready place in the bagel.
