Introduction

Ingredients

    1-2 tsp olive oil
    2 bell peppers (red, yellow or green) diced
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced (or use Pre-minced from jar)
    1 lb ground extra lean turkey
    1 tbsp chili powder (or more to taste)
    1 tsp ground cumin
    1 14 oz can of diced tomatoes
    1 15 oz can of black beans, rinsed and drained
    1 15 oz can of kidney beans ( rinsed and drained)
    2 15 oz can of tomato sauce

Directions

Heat oil in a large sauce pan and add the chopped peppers and onion along with minced garlic and let cook until softened. Add ground turkey and cook thoroughly until there is no pink left. add remaining ingredients. Bring the mixture to a boil and then reduce to a simmer. Simmer for thirty minutes, stirring occasionally.
