Ingredients

    sautee cut beef
    add 1 large onion
    3Tbls minced garlic
    taragon, red pepper flakes and bay leave
    8 cups of water
    10tsp of soup base
    1c chopped clery
    2lbs fresh mushrooms
    1c chopped red pepper
    half large head of cabbage chopped
    2cup v8 or tomatoe juice
    2cups frozen grreen beans/broccoli corn etc
    1cup uncooked barley

Directions

brown the meat onion garlic add water and soup base
then and any and all vegis you have on hand freash or frozen
and you barley last and simmer as long as it take for barley to cook
makes 20 1 cup servings
