Supper easy soup! Supper easy soup!
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 TBSP of vegetable oil
    1/2 Cup of Green Bell Pepper Chopped
    1 Cup of Onion Chopped
    2 tsp of Tabasco Sauce
    2 Cups of Chicken Broth
    1 Cup White Rice (instant)
    2 Cups of Red Kidney Beans (drained and rinsed)

Directions

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium heat. Add onion and green pepper and cook until tender. Add tabasco sauce, beans, and broth and bring to a boil. Stir in white rice. Reduce heat to low and cook for additional two minutes. Remove from heat and serve

    Good
    The way it's written, there's not enough water to cook the rice. I added 4 cups water. The rice, even instant, needs to cook longer than 2 mins. - more like 10. There was no seasoning in it so it was bland. I added 2 tsps. of italian seasoning, used brown rice instead of white, and chard chopped. - 7/9/15
