I make this for my kids. My kids love it. don't like pulp? Omit orange. After blended top off the glass with a little more orange juice before serving. Enjoy! I make this for my kids. Ingredients

    1 cup milk
    6 ounces of orange juice or 1 juicey orange
    1 To 2 tablespoons of pure vanilla extract/ or add vanilla beans.
    1 cup crushed ice or more
    2 ounces orange juice if using fresh orange

Tips

variations: Want to lower the carbs then use unstweetened Almond milk... use any fresh fruit mango, berries etc. Frozen fruit can be used instead of fresh. You won't have to use as much ice....if you have bananas that are browning peel and put in freezer in freezer bags for your smoothy.....


Directions

add all ingredients to a blender besides 2 ounces of orange juice. blend until smooth. Add more ice if you prefer thicker smoothy.... pour into glass then top off with remainding orange juice. Enjoy!!!

    Oh yummy I am going to try this. I really want something like a cream sickle, but when I looked in SP for recipes so many have sugar free chemical-rich ingredients like, sugar- free jell-o and cool-whip. Not something I am interested in eating. Thanks for this recipe! - 8/10/10
