Ingredients

    300 g minced beef
    12 c beef stock
    1 onion diced
    250 g lentils
    1 can chopped tomatoes
    1.5 c chopped or sliced mushrooms
    1 c chopped broccoli
    1 tbsp. worchestershire sauce

Directions

I simply put it all in a slow cooker and cook on low for as long as necessary.

add salt and pepper to taste.

    I'd like to try this but have a few questions. Do you brown the ground beef and drain the fat before adding it to the slow cooker? Are the lentils cooked or uncooked? What size can of tomatoes? - 1/25/09
